What is your hardware made of?

All of our hardware is made from premium grade recycled brass.

Are your finishes lacquered or living?

Our hardware is finished with a high-quality lacquer. It is not designed to change color.

Do you offer custom finishes?

Yes. Please contact us for more information.

How should I clean my hardware?

Only clean your hardware with a soft cloth moistened in a mixture of warm water and diluted dish soap. Dry the hardware after cleaning. Never use harsh chemicals on your hardware as it can damage the finish.

Ordering

How do I order?

You can place an order with us through our website or over the phone. You can also order through your nearest dealer.

Can I change or cancel my order?

We aim to process and ship orders quickly. To change or cancel your order, please call as soon as possible.

What countries do you ship to?

We currently only ship orders to addresses in the United States. If you are in another country, we recommend having your order shipped to a freight forwarder.

Shipping + Delivery

How long will it take to receive my hardware?

We ship out orders by the end of the next business day. Depending on the shipping speed you select and your proximity to Southern California, you can expect to receive your shipment in 2-6 business days.

Can my order be expedited?

Yes. We offer UPS Second Day and Next Day Air. Both options are available to choose during checkout.

Will I receive tracking on my order?

As soon as your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking information.

What if my order arrives damaged?

In the unlikely event your hardware arrives damaged, please email us at support@thedetailshome.com along with a photo of the damaged hardware and all packaging it arrived in.

What is your return policy?

You can return purchases within 30 days of delivery. A 10% restocking fee and a $10 return label fee will be applied. Items that are damaged, installed, or missing their original packaging are not eligible for a refund.
